3 Ways To Get People To Comment

Getting readers to comment can be a difficult task.  Here are three things to do to encourage reader comments and feedback.
  1. Be Current: If you are the first to report on news, an amazing breakthrough, or just a different opinion you will surely get reader attention.  Also, be slightly controversial.  If you report on a not so PC story and ask for feedback you will get it.  Just make sure you are prepared for a heated argument.
  2. Ask For Feedback: Yup, you can ask.  Readers love to talk, learn, and read!  Ask readers what their favorite museum is, where they would travel if they had a million dollars, or even what their favorite food is!
  3. Be Simple And Fun: No one wants to comment in detail (unless they have a lot of time on their hands) so, keep in simple.
